This sensor monitors a door or window for open/closed status, measures the rooms temperature and measures light levels. One-piece mounts on the door/window frame, and the other mounts on the door/window itself. When the two components separate, the sensor reports that the window/door is open. Not only can it be used to detect intruders but can also automatically trigger partnered Bearsense devices when activated.
